Water drive. Oil displaced under the pressure of natural
or artificial water download at a pressure above the saturation
pressure. In natural water drive systems (Fig. 2.4), the oil is driven
to the bottom hole under the natural pressure of edge water. A
water drive can also be created artificially by injecting water
through special injection wells (Fig. 2.5).
