               8.1 Types of solutions



                    Solutions  are  homogeneous  systems  which  consist  of  a  solvent,
                    dissolved substances and products of their interaction.




               Depending  on  the  aggregate  state  of  the  solvent  there  can  be  singled  out  solid,

               liquid, and gaseous solutions.

               Saturated solution is a solution in which at a certain temperature the substance no

               longer  dissolves.    Unsaturated  solution  is  a  solution  in  which  at  a  certain

               temperature the substance can still dissolve.

               Solubility  is the  maximum  mass of a substance that can dissolve  in 100  g of  a

               solvent.



               8.2 Ways of expressing the solutions composition

               1) mass fraction ω is the ratio of the mass of the dissolved substance to the total

               mass of the solution:
