                         These two types of analysis are more appropriate for newspaper or magazine

                  text (articles) than for book editions. There are three main stages of the editor's
                  work on the manuscript:

                         1. Initial stage (participation of the lethreader in planning and assistance in
                  developing the topic).

                         2. Evaluation of the manuscript of the liter editor, in which attention is

                  drawn to:

                         1) the choice of the topic (evaluation of the choice of the topic (relevance,

                  whether it is suitable for the format);

                         2) the development of the topic (evaluation of the development of the topic),

                  that is, the consideration of facts, phenomena, logic of transitions, coupling, the

                  relevance of generalizations, conclusions, etc., checking quotes, figures, dates,

                  work on composition. This assessment ends with an editorial opinion, comments

                  and recommendations of the author.

                         3. The main stage. It begins after the author has removed the shortcomings

                  noted by the editor.

                         This stage includes:

                         1) the first reading of the text, when the text does not rule, and only a few

                  notes relating to logical and stylistic errors are made in the margins;

                         2) re-reading, at which the composition is controlled, eliminate logical

                  disturbances;

                         3) literary text processing, when allowed to make edits.

                         The first reading of the text is called still acquaintance, since the focus is

                  mainly on the content of the work, his design. K. Nakoryakova speaks about three

                  stages of reading:

                         1) general knowledge of the text, which makes it possible to navigate the

                  content and form of the work;

                         2) reading for the sake of in-depth awareness of the material of the work and

                  its criticism from the perspective of the fundamental questions of content and
