                            Clinton when he was 15.
                                  Clinton attended a Roman Catholic school for two years before
                            enrolling  in  public  school.  Young  Bill  enjoyed  his  schoolwork  and
                            earned good grades. In high school, he was active in a variety of clubs
                            and held many offices. Clinton early showed an interest in politics.
                            He  met  President  Kennedy  as  a  delegate  to  the  American  Legion
                            Boys Nation, a citizenship training program in which young people
                            form a model of national government.
                                  After  graduating  from  high  school  in  1964,  Clinton  attended
                            Georgetown  University  in  Washington,  D.C.  He  majored  in
                            international affairs. He studied hard and remained active in school
                            lofe, serving as class president during  his freshmen and sophomore
                            years. Clinton helped pay his college expenses through a job with the
                            Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
                                  Following his graduation, Clinton entered Oxford University in
                            Oxford,  England,  as  a  Rhodes  Scholar.  He  remained  at  Oxford  for
                            two years.
                                  After  leaving  Oxford  in  1970,  Clinton  entered  Yale  Law
                            School.  He  helped  pay  his  expenses  through  a  scholarship  and  by
                            holding part-time jobs.
                                  After  receiving  his  law  degree  in  1973,  Clinton  returned  to
                            Arkansas.  He  took  a  position  on  the  faculty  of  the  University  of
                            Arkansas Law School in Fayetteville.
                                  In 1974, Clinton became the Democratic nominee for a seat in
                            the U.S. House of Representatives but was defeated.
                                  In 1976, he won the Democratic primary for attoney general of
                            Arkansas. He became known as a supporter of consumers' interests.
                                  In 1979, at the age of 32, Clinton was elected governor.
                                  In  1982,  he  was  elected  governor  again,  and  later  reelected
                            three more times. He held office until 1992.
                                  In 1992, Clinton was elected President of the United States.
                                  Bill Clinton married Hillary Rodham in 1975. The couple had
                            one child. After  the marriage, Hillary continued to pursue her  own
                            career as an attorney, eventually becoming one of the nation's most
                            prominent lawyers. She also played an active role in public affairs.
